Personally, I'll begin with the PS2 version only. However if it's easily editable with the PC version I might get that aswell, if my PC can handle it.

PC, don't have a ps2 (or necessairly want one), have an xbox but like games better for PC

Will start with xbox and unless the game looks much better graphically on pc or gets some nice patches or edits will probably stick with xbox.

pc don't have any consoles and pc can get edited patched and maybe might have online play

PC. Nothing beats my good old AMD64 3200+ OC / X800Pro (running as XT) combo with a Saitek P2500 rumble pad.

PC of course.........play it on high resolution with a PS2 pad, should be awesome.

xbox...and if its xbox live ima whup sum ass
<

I'll get it on PC first because my current PC shits all over all the consoles out and because of the possibilty for mods, but then I'll probably get it on XBOX or PS2 depending on how they run... however at that poit I'll buy it second hand or have a mates copy burned (hay at this point I'll have already paid for a legit copy of the product so no giving me any ****!)...

Why'd you get the 64 chip so early? Windows XP 64 won't be out for a bit yet so it doesn't really get utilized... Apart from that I have a similar system to you:
AMD Athlon XP 3200+, 1024 meg (DC) DDR400 kingston ram, MSI NX6800GT TD 256 (nVidia), got a logitek rumble pad (platent rip off of the PS2 pad).

Similar system also, except i have a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ o/c'd to 3200+ (sometimes 3500) - 1gb DDR 400 twinmos RAM and a radeon 9700 pro - Not the best card out atm but does a good job - my bro normally gets the good stuff and passes it down, he has a 6800 atm (+ nostromo b45 gamepad)

Why not? THey're relatively cheap and they're 10% faster in 32-bit than the XPs. Works a dream with the X800 Pro, which I'm quite chuffed with, came as a 16 pipeline version, I slapped an Arctic Cooler on it and I'm running it at stock X800XT speeds.

You must be a keen gamer with a setup like that? HL2? CS Source? Doom 3?
HL2, Riddick (**** film, great game), Myst IV, Rome Total War, Pirates...yeah, I love games.

Myst? That's not a game! It's an interactive engine demo!

As is Pirates, damn that game ROCKS!

And I love Myst, I love games which require a bit of brain power.

I see what you mean, but all the same the 4000+ will probably be pretty cheap by the time XP 64 is out so thats what I'm waiting for
<

Untill then the Athlon XP 3200 and nvidia 6800GT is munching my games easily... I was thinking of getting the X800, but at the end of the day the 6800 GT was given the "best buy for the buck" tick so thats what I went with...
My mate also fitted everything into a thermaltake tsunami case for me so the thing runs pretty cool (When I get the 64 I'm gonna get a nice "shark" case though
<
), but mind you the artic cooler sounds pretty slick! how much did that set you back?

Whats Riddick like on PC mate? I've got it on XBOX, do you reckon it's worth a trade in?
Also, if you liked Rome Total war, then go check out LOTR Battle for middle earth. That game is wicked fun! And incredibly absorbing if you play the campeigns...
