Romania are going for an unbeaten season of their own this weekend, so I've been looking up when NZ won their 17 consecutive wins in a row (I already knew SA did it in '98 because I saw them notch it up on TV during that epic autumn grand slam tilt.)

Anyway, stop the press. Did you know the world record is actually held by.... Cypress!?!

20 consecutive wins and still unbeaten! Well done Cypress and keep up the good work. Romania, good luck against Fiji. NZ, maybe a tour to the Mediterranean is in order! ;)

its a bit like that Japanese winger who holds / held the record for most test match tries. But all credit to Cypress. I reckon they deserve a bit of a fanfair.
