I've downloaded the file and tried to extract it to the game file but it doesn't work.

Can someone give me a step by step guide as to how to use/install this file?

Same here

Ok I have to roster editor open but can't use it because I keep getting this meassge "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."

What the hell does that mean, when I click continue it goes back to the roster editor but I can't do anything.

Think I figured it , on installation of editor you have the opportunity to open the rugby08.exe file this is your only chance to load the roster . After uninstalling the editor then reinstalling it and open the .exe file when promoted on the initial editor start up I was then able to edit rosters.

I'm now getting something similar. When I click Open Roster I now get "Value of 111 is not valid for "Value". "Value" must be beteween Minimum and maximum."

I almost wish I got the ps2 version. This just seems too much of a pain in the hole.

roster to open is the one you use in the game

%my documents%\EA SPORTS™ Rugby 08\rst_0.rst\rst_0.rst

and no you cant make changes to the world league players yet, but the world champtionship (now the world cup) you can.

what player you are trying to edit that you get that error? cause i am not getting that error.

send me your profile and ill see what i can do.

No troubles from me now whoosh. Awesome effort thanks very much for your hard work really appreciate it.

As usual, fantastic stuff!! I've just downloaded, but if it's anywhere near as good as the Rugby06, it'd be incredible!!

I've got one question. I know there's more important things, but I was wondering whether it'd be possible to export the faces of Chris Paterson and Dan Parks from Rugby06. In Rugby08, for whatever reason, they don't have "real" faces.

Thanks a lot!!

which roster do i open? and how do i open it? i have it downloaded but getting this error 111 thing.

help appreciated!

i too get the error 111. also whats the purpose of the excel files can i say change cardiff to cardiff blues with it?

Here is a simple guide to getting the editor to work.

Download the set up file to your desktop.

Install the editor by double clicking the icon.

Once its installed go to your start bar and run the program in the normal way.

The first thing that you chose to open is the roster that you want to edit.

I would advise downloading ozzy's roster file to begin with and putting this in the EA sports section of my documents.

Then select this file as your roster to edit.

Next you chose to open your Rugby08.exe file.

The editor should then load.

Click on open roster at the top right and it should open.

Begin editting.

thats all well and good but the 111 error occurs before i can choose which roster i want to open

Wow, this sounds like a pain in the arse.

Anyone willing to post a detailed step by step guide for noobs?

if you are having problems when you are clicking OPEN ROSTER then you probably didnt open a roster file when it first started. You can then either uninstall the editor and reinstall it or go to where the roster editor is hiding and change the path to the path of an actual roster and try again.

otherwise if you are using a roster please post it here so either me, if i am here, or one of the patch team can have a look at it and tell you where you are going wrong.

remember the roster file is ea sports rugby 08\rst0.ros\rst0.ros
