World Cup Seedings

Just wondering if anybody knows how they work? Is there a good chance England have avoided the big guns for the next World Cup?

I may be wrong on this but I'd imagine that the top 3 sides will all be seeded alongside New Zealand as hosts, so England could still be drawn with Australia or France and possibly end up with Ireland also in their pool, but who knows what shape we'll be in 4 years down the line, could be some very interesting pools and possibly some lopsided ones like we had this time round.

That's assuming that NZ don't lose the cup again due to lack of organisation. I see the new Auckland mayor is not honouring the promise of $30 million to the upgrade of Eden park made by his predecessor. Yikes, way to screw it up boys!
