It hasn't, I wrote an answer earlier about the famous convoy, they are building up for an envelopment. There are Russian spearheads moving from the south and east
Sorry, but your gonna have to explain why they are sitting in a giant strung out queue that largely negates any numerical advantage and removes all freedom of manoeuvring, rather than getting themselves off a (very vulnerable) single highway and into a useful position for either defending themselves or attacking Kyiv.
Talk is:
That convoy largely left Belarus with 3 days supplies thinking it'd be a walk over. That was what, 8 days ago?
The Ukrainians attacked and took out the lead vehicles.
The mud stopped the Russians getting around them (and I assume, same for clearing them off road - don't quite know how that's been a problem - do they not have winches?).
Now, many vehicles are out of fuel.
The troops will shortly run out of food.
The Ukrainians aren't really attacking them as soon its gonna become a massive disaster the Russians somehow have to handle, that convoy is shaping into a disorganised retreat (on foot) back across the Belarussian border to get food. Or officers shooting troopers for disobeying orders.
Or, quite possibly, the talk is rubbish - and by extension, all the above is rubbish. But given the hard evidence of Russian incompetence to date (trying to run field ops via unencrypted radios... like really?) - then I'm betting for, rather than against.
If it were you - would you be happy to be still be sat there on a single highway knowing if there is any attacks, you don't have freedom to manoeuvre?
[and I do appreciate where your coming from, both from your background and quoting Soviet doctrine]
