All these have all helped him earn more caps than he should have. Even Gatland was daft enough to bring him on the Lions tour to SA while he was in poor form. Sexton should have gone instead.

Farrel offers no real threat from 12, it really shows as he predictably ships on to the outside runner. He should be at 10 only unless an emergency.
