DONALD TRUMP (Re: F47): Certain allies, we will be selling them, perhaps, a toned-down version. We like to tone it down about 10%, which probably makes sense, because maybe some of them are not our allies, right?

Trump ended his presidency by intentionally stealing vast quantities of highly classified documents, blocking attempts to get then back to the degree his house had to be raided to get them back, and stood by as his fanatics stormed the capitol based on his lies and refusal to accept the result of the election or oversee a peaceful transfer of power...So when Biden does it for the first time, it's justified, Trump took documents (Biden would never do that) but when Trump follows suit your outraged?
Let's be honest, does Biden have capacity? Is Hunter trustworthy?
There are probably arguments for and against the names on the list, and I have seen the full list, but Democrats seem to have a great skill for being short sighted. They set a precedent and then surprise Pikachu face when the next government do the same thing lol
I honestly don't care about ex presidents ability to access classified information, I just don't understand the pearl clutching only when Trump does something.
Let's say I agree it's him being petty, and vindictive, I would also keep the same energy when Biden did it though.

And you know four years from now it will all happen againTrump ended his presidency by intentionally stealing vast quantities of highly classified documents, blocking attempts to get then back to the degree his house had to be raided to get them back, and stood by as his fanatics stormed the capitol based on his lies and refusal to accept the result of the election or oversee a peaceful transfer of power...
No other ex president has done that and shown they will put themselves ahead if the country.
Yep, and there will be a stupid push by Republicans to bend or break every law to try to secure him a 3rd termAnd you know four years from now it will all happen again
Or they'll find a reason to call martial law and not hold an election...Yep, and there will be a stupid push by Republicans to bend or break every law to try to secure him a 3rd term

You never heard of Private Eye? You absolute philistine. I thought all you English rugby fans ate caviar and smelled each others farts?Private Eye magazine
Sounds like a porn magazine.
I wish we didI thought all you English rugby fans ate caviar and smelled each others farts?
Better than eating farts and smelling of caviar I guess, which incidentally is probably what yous see in MBS vision of private eye...You never heard of Private Eye? You absolute philistine. I thought all you English rugby fans ate caviar and smelled each others farts?
Good idea but one question. Out of curiosity, if I want to post about the US kicking Prince Harry out for falsifying immigration paperwork and that we (collectively as a nation) are willing to trade him back to the UK for a haggis, would that be in the American political or the European political thread?@TRF_Olyy
Thread is 1000 pages long - do we want to take pity on the server and start afresh?
Maybe separate out N.American politics from European? Or European from RotW?
Seems more like a trade thread. We'll take him if you'll have Boris Johnson back.Good idea but one question. You'll have to go on the Scottish thread for haggis.Good idea but one question.
