There is one thing I don't understand about Australian rugby union's lack of good players. People say all the best rugby players in Australia go and play in the NRL. But in rugby league there is no position for players that are 6'7" beanpoles. So players with that physique are not going to the NRL. So why aren't the 6'7" beanpoles in Australia going to play rugby union? Why do Australia produce so few locks?

League has a few big boys
Broncos got one lad who is 6'7

Aussies have a good record of locks though I feel

The tall athletes play AFL if they cant bowl pace.

Fiji are a good team. They've beaten better than us. Point is, we won when we shouldn't have.
They are definitely a good side. I think we should have won comfortably though. Two tries chalked off for (very marginal) forward passes and multiple attacking lineouts pulled up for basic technical infringements they've been hard on all year in Super Rugby.

Just went headless chicken a few times once we failed to execute.

12 months ago we probably lost that one
