A Political Thread pt. 2

You know things are bad when you've lost the HuffPost

So, Reeves was looking to shrink the budget, but with all the recent U-Turns, the budget is ADDING $100 million in costs. Oy vey.

This news is like 2 weeks old dude.

I mean thats nothing new

It's been like that ever since this country went from a industrial country to a finance country and thatcher only made it worse by pumping North Sea oil to help fund tax cuts for the finance lot

The country outside of London is a mess and has been a mess since before I was born
You are blaming someone who left office 30+ years ago?
No one cares, mate

You'd probably be better off trying to rage bait on twitter or something
No one cares that you are getting poorer everyday? That's surprising. It looks like the rest of country outside this forum certainly cares if approval ratings are any indication.

UK economy shrinking...

Apparently, some of y'all should move to Slovenia.

So should the entire state of Mississipi by your ******* logic

I get America is a new country and that you might not understand the meaning of consequences just yet, but you look at the paths that Finland took compared to us it’s pretty obvious

this country is still suffering from the policies that went into place.

It’s why the press etc are so desperate to keep blaming it on the group that has the smallest voice

My links. They are from official government sources. What's BS about them?

You've had nearly 20 years of non-existent productivity or economic growth, while adding millions of low-wage workers. Is the government data wrong? If so, what is accurate figures to cite?
Name one government department that uses substack

I can get where @ChicagoKid is coming from. We comment a lot on politics in his country and he disagrees with a lot of our views (which is completely fair enough obviously) so maybe he feels the need to return the favour. All I would say is that we actually genuinely care about America. This is largely due to how it effects us so it’s not some altruistic thing but we also do care about the country that is the USA.

If you want to contribute to politics in this country with the same energy feel free or carry on as you are it’s your choice but you won’t get much engagement if you do.
Check you're eligible
You can get a Motability car or vehicle if you've been awarded:

 • the higher rate of the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
 • the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
 • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement
 • the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Adult Disability Payment
 • the higher rate of the mobility component of Child Disability Payment

Looks like the article was right.
Unless you have a clue as to whether you qualify for any of them you can't make that statement.

For example, I qualify for PIP above, but not the enhanced rate but the lower rate.

I am a overweight diabetic with COPD. I also suffer from Asperger's which makes me autistic. I struggle to walk 150m before needing to stop and rest/catch my breath.

I nowhere near qualify for a "free" car as you seem to think.

You, who constantly praised the accuracy of substack have been a victim of someone who pays for false facts or alternatively can't interpret them properly.

Totally wrong

Growth rates been fairly consistent if not spectacular, the two big negatives were COVID and the 2008 recession caused by America republicans.

I genuinely care about the UK because 1.) I enjoy Clarkson's farm and I don't want Jeremy to face the guillotine in Trafalgar Square. And 2.) the UK is the heart of rugby. If it continues to stagnate and turn into Argentina, then that is bad for rugby.

Absolutely rancid bait. He's as bad as the other guy. Either cannot understand, or willfully objects to the idea of a state assisting its less advantaged people

I’m going to pretend I didn’t read the first reason. Excellent second reason though comrade and your love of Biggar will never be forgotten.

Your country has extreme poverty too over 36 million at the moment 11%

You MAGAs still try and blame Clinton, Obama and Biden

Q1 is normally negative as you can see from previous years due to import fluctuation.

If our labor force shrinks, wages will rise, and our long-term unemployed will rejoin the workforce. We have plenty of people to fill our jobs.

And as for poverty, there is no utopia outside of heaven. 36 million or 3 million, there will always be a bottom decile.
