Dominant yet inaccurate from the Stormers. 7 visits to the 22 for 14 points with 60-70% possession and territory. Just need to be more accurate.

Either Stormers will pull away in the second half, or Dragons will scrape this. They’ve not been too bad with ball, they’ve just never had it and have been horrendous in the air. Any kick chase by the Stormers has been an almost guaranteed regather (which is ironic because this is where the other South African teams were destroying us over the last 3 months). Khan has been doing relatively well but just a bit over eager a couple of times and not always getting it right. Roos generally making metres with ball in hand, but runs up to contact, tries a late step that kills his running momentum and then will make one metre from that and be tackled (because all his momentum is lost and other players can join the tackle).

Stormers also looking dominant in the scrum but haven’t had many opportunities there (but also a guaranteed penalty every time). A bit weak on the maul drives though. Dragons fronting up well there

SFM, Fourie and the scrum stood out for the Stormers. Otherwise that was pretty dire white line fever inaccuracy throughout. Left about 4-5 tries out there and gave away 2 very basic defending tries.

They’re lucky they didn’t play like this against the Bulls last week

Haven’t seen the game yet but looks like Dragons did well. 1 point away from taking something home. As it’s they left with nothing. Shame.
