I like how Wigglesworth thinks sticking a hideous hairdo on a piece of **** will make it look less like a piece of ****.

On a serious note...

England lose the next two games.
Do the RFU have the balls to actually sack him. And WHO comes in....or do they run with someone in the camp already?

I'd like Wiggy to be made care-taker till after the RWC

Also for Stuart Barnes call for Pollock to be made captain made into a reality

The RWC will be gash, but this forum will be glorious.

Will be interesting to see, at a surface level I'd say they wouldn't - they had the perfect opportunity after the 6N and didn't
Unless there's a really big performance related clause to not pay him out (there should be, but is there? feel like any lawyer worth their salt would just have their client refuse to sign one) then they're gonna have to pay SB out the nose and then pay to get a new coach in (unless they promote from within)

But at some point something's gotta give - two more losses would take us to, what? 7 in a row?

We've tried Rob Andrew, Martin Johnson and Steve Borthwick, isn't it time for Owen Farrell to have a go?

Yep and chose to back him through to the RWC. But there are always ways and ways.

The SA game didn’t really shift the dial - that was pretty much as expected. And I would expect us to win at least one of the 2 games coming up.

But on the “if a mistake’s worth making” principle I can easily see a repeat of the EJ situation with last minute post Autumn change. Whether anyone decent is lined up or available is another matter.

Pre Rugby World Cup matches are seen as the least competitive of all international Rugby matches and ignored. But losing this would be very shed for Borthwick to come back from.

I wonder if there is a loss % they are waiting for because they don't want to pay the money, or if they just are going to wait and hope he comes good.

Allegedly the RFU felt it was unfair to judge him based on games against SA away etc.

They want to see an improvement in gameplan, identify, discipline.

Going well so far.

Everyone knows the issues, the RFU are scared to ask why?

It’s only a matter of time now. There’s been the grumblings of an unhappy camp (surprise surprise). Players leaking stuff and now rumours the big wigs want to see improvement in identity, gameplay etc etc.

I’ll be surprised if he’s the coach for the autumn fixtures and gobsmacked if he’s still there for the 6N but I guess if he is it means you’ve put a nice run together.

Wonder how low that would be, though? Sub 50%? Think he's on 60% atm

If we lose to Fiji, he'll drop behind Ashton, to 54.3%
If we lose to Fiji and Argentine, he'll drop to 53.2%
If we win 1, lose 1, he'll drop to 55.3%
If we win both, he'll rise to 57.4%
