Not at all, your just blinded by your hatred of the English.

I've acknowledged it's a problem, but it's not just an our problem.

Didn't it kick of in Derry recently at the football ie last week? Were English fans involved there?
Yes. But we don't call our opponents "animals" under any circumstance and would never ever do so if we had issues. People who do that are hypcrites.
You are a liar by claiming I hate English. Rather you are not able to take criticism like an adult.

I had a nice 3hr Internet detox this evening after a tough day at work and then I did it to myself in solidarity for all the victims of DV mentioned in this thread out of genuine concern and not worthless internet point scoring.
I am involved with this issue currently and have been for decades. If I am calling hypcrisy out I will use that issue any time its available.

All humans are Animals i would just like to point out

What part of i acknowledge it's a problem don't you understand.

It would appear I'm not the one with the issue about taking criticism. You've managed to offend every English and Welsh poster.

I suspect your righteousness might get in the way of thinking why is that? Am I the problem here.

I honestly think you’re a prick.
Who cares what you think?

I honestly thought last night was the last time I would see the muppets for a while....

If those particular couple of thin skinned English posters and their little terrier twll tin want to see more of the muppet show youll find it showing in your nearest mirror.

Lol, that Halftime show was so ****. I dislike Rooney, but that was funny when they asked him for his opinion, and he was na; it was crap

I also find it interesting how Demfad uses England issuing a warning about domestic violence around football matches as an example of how bad the fans are, but then acknowledges football related domestic violence happens elsewhere, so ends up basically critiquing England for being the only country (according to him) to try and stop domestic violence related to football.

So yeah, **** you England for trying to make women safer!

Plus the fact that it's only mentioned in England because it's only really been studied in England. Ironically those who study and record problems because they want to solve them end up making it look like they are the ones who least want to solve it.

It's like countries claiming they are doing better in a disease outbreak than others because they stopped testing for it, therefore the number of confirmed cases drops.

As was mentioned elsewhere in a critique of this claim, normal people don't suddenly become domestic abusers because of an intense moment. It is a catalyst for those who are already abusers. There is no evidence that domestic abuse rates in England are that much worse than anywhere else, and our rates of reporting it are certainly a lot better than many other countries, so it's a completely dishonest and bad faith representation of what the statistics said.

another without the horse in the race but looking at all the footage i think Argentina behaved atrociously post game and lots of stories coming out about their general attitudes during the tournament, seen more people from all over the world saying theyre glad they lost than happy spain won

I love some banter as much as the next guy but the Pumas wearing a replica of the shirt Maradona cheated in....is a decision.....proud to have cheated is something ive never understood, like those that love to be hated and actually encourage it...weird

in general i didnt have strong feelings one way or the other re Argentina football and actually liked the Pumas before this week.....less so now

By that argument Argentina has no right to self determination as it is the product of Spanish imperialism.

You have to draw the line somewhere and the current inhabitants have the strongest claim if any group in the world of being the natives of the islands.

Britain displays massive hypocrisy all over the place regarding our imperial past, the Falklands are one of the few places where we aren't.
The Falklands is on the Patagonian shelf and therefore part of the South American continent. They can't stand alone and their future is as a colony of the UK (formerly GB formerly Kingdom of England) or as a part of another SA country which would be Argentina.
Your hypocrisy statement is correct but only shows that the "penguin" argument is dishonest. Of true it means that every uninhabited land or island could belong to a colonial power as long as they were the first human there regardless of its geographical location.
The Falkland Islanders are no more British than Argentinians are Spanish or Italians. It is a colonial holding more related to resources i suspect.

Longer than Argentina has existed
The existence of the world of international borders and States as known today is largely a result of imperialism. Good or bad, thats a fact. With that argument Ireland would be deemed forever British as no modern Irish state existed before 1922. There was never an English State until there was. German or Italian unification would not have happened.
The Falklands cant stand alone. Their future is either as a part of Argentina or as a colony of a distant power. UK should negotiate autonomy for Falklands in Argentina with guarantees. Thats whats best for the Islanders. Unless the UK has strategic or mineral intetests in which case its cynical colonialism

I do not need any authority to say that these South American Islands will never be self sufficient. Ergo the choice for them is becoming part of another SA country preferably with self autonomy...or remaining part of a self serving ghost empire...which wont last.
Why do you get to speak for them with more authority than their own voice

The reason that studies are done on domestic violence when England lose is as a result of 48% inflated communications to Domestic Violence helplines when England loses. You seem to be suggesting that similar tsumamis of distressed calls occur when other nations lose but that DV agencies on these countries are incompetent or uncaring?
I would suggest that your ignorant viewpoint is more a result of a lazy and uncaring need to whitewash the crimes of these England supporters.
Again England has a disgusting history of racism, xenophobia, hooliganism amongst its support. People with these traits tend to be misogynist too.
If you are pointing a finger at Argentina. Then point 3 at yourselves.

Yeah cause Argentina's in such great shape 🙄

Very colonialist of you, someone from a rich foreign nation half the world away, to dictate what the native population of a small group of islands should do
I have no authority to dictate as you know. I am allowed to have an opinion which you seem.to.be trying to supress by whatever unintelligible argument you are tryimg to peddle. (BTW You are from the UK which is literally dictating this whole scenario).

When Germany were playing England in 2006, you English supporters and media called them NAZIs.
When you play France you invoke Napoleon..surrender monkeys etc.
And with Argentina its the Falklands. How many decades did the whinge over Maradona last?
This time was different. The right wing Millei government wanted a fight over the Falklands and you English gave it to them.

The outrage since Wednesday has to.do with England losing. We all know it.

Did I? I don't think i watched a single game tbh

Do I?

Only one country is obsessed with Maradona and the 80s and it's the one that wore a hand of God shirt vs England last week
The right wing Millei government wanted a fight over the Falklands and you English gave it to them.
Think it was Galtieri that wanted a fight over them, actually - as I recall it didn't end well
The outrage since Wednesday has to.do with England losing. We all know it.
There are far far far more people talking about the outrage than people being actually outraged - vast majority I've seen is "Tactics were terrible, we had a good chance, gutted but onto the next one", not this rioting in the street and burning down cities that you're going on like is happening

Would be willing to bet there are more posts from you complaining about outraged English fans than combined posts from outraged English fans on here

Maradona scored the greatest goal ever scored in the world cup that day in one of the great individual world cup performances. The reason you associate that match with cheating is because the well beaten English and their high % of hooligan supporters have been whinging for decades since.
The greatest individual world cup performance arguably happenned 5 days after that England match when Argentina dispatched an excellent Belgium.
Maradonas first goal was the only possible way he could have scored from that position. His second with the entire Belgian defence in front of him...took him 3-4 seconds. His goal in the opening match against world champions involved him making a brilliant run towards the halfway line which split the Italian defence open....with Maradona scoring from 10 metres after touching the ball....once..the scoring touch.
The reason you dont know about this is the reason you think the world is obsessing over Argentina now. England are horrible losers.
Yes Argentina behaved badly but compared to ticket prices and Infantino/Trump corruption etc..its Mickey Mouse.
Tuchel might be relieved....they have been distracted from constructing his gallows for a while.

Apart from @OllyM97 bless him I don’t think anyone gave a monkeys really (it is a rugby forum afterall)

I wanted Argentina to win as my tribalism will not allow me to wish sporting success on England.

However, Argentina and their fans were a borderline disgrace this WC.

English fans and media use historical feuds to xenophobically attack opponents. We all know this whether you pretend otherwise or not.
English football social media have been calling Argentina 'scum' since that match. Abuse has been incessant including over the Falklands. How they hoped Spain would beat the 'animals' and the shocking xenophobic behaviour towards Argentina since. From a country whose supporters are collectively and historically the nastiest in world football bar none.
You lost. The Tuchel bashing a case in point.
We saw in the last 30 mins when it went mano a mano why Argentina are 5/3 finals and cups and England are 1/1.
