No, I'd read articles where he said he had already started preparing for life after rugby in Llanelli. He had set up some rugby themed nurseries in the area that he and his wife run and work in, so he would already have a job when he was finished with rugby. He'll most likely have to give those up now, so it just seems a contradiction to me. He also liked our focus on young players because he liked being a senior player there. Oh well, best of luck to him.

Certainly a loss for the Scarlets, but they have quite a few outside back coming through, as well as Stoddart returning in 2/3 months.

Apparently Bath have put on hold all new contract negotiations until the results improve...* another masterstroke by Bruce Craig. There's also talk of the youngsters being screwed around (on Bath rugby Ere, the poster in question has an excellent source) which is making them look elsewhere. ....I'd put a fairly large amount of money on that happening down the line. I can't remember whether his contract was 2 or 3 years, either way not too long to wait.
I've heard the Ovens to us full time if we go up rumour too. Will be delighted if he does, crackin player, fits our style of play too.

Ashton definately leaving Northampton probably to Sarries as suspected. No Flood or Foden he's screwed.
Also Parks to Connacht may be decent change their style of play and limit their young impressive outside backs.
