Just to keep tabs - and I'm well aware I'm talking about a small minority here; but this morning Ali was at work alone, and someone came in specifically to shout "Fukk off out of our country" before running away. Reducing her to tears.
We've also heard directly from patients (specifically 2 Italians and a German) who've had similar situations within Tewkesbury.
I have written to our MP asking him to publicly condemn such behaviour as some people really do seem to think it socially acceptable now.
I also don't know what to do personally. Obviously, I have come into work just to be present on the front desk - and I am wearing my France rugby top.
If it happens again I know full well that I would want to chase the tw@ down the street; but that can only aggaravate things. I've also considered getting a CCTV system to cover reception - which is considered a public space and I believe I'd need a licence to do so.

Totally agree.
But this was far too important and complex to have ever been put to the people in the first place. Being very generous maybe 10m out of the 46m qualified voters might have understood the issues in any great detail, so how did the rest make their mind up? Soundbites, Sun headlines, what their mates said and Boris being the king of the one liner. I don't think I'm totally stupid but there was a lot I didn't understand and I nearly changed my mind on the way to the polling station.
This isn't a general election that can be undone in 5 years - the implications could be material and rumble on for decades. I didn't mind Cameron too much, but this was a complete abandonment of responsibility for which he rightly paid the price.
Europe has been a sucession of errors by Cameron.
First off he was able to hide behind the Lib Dems as a way of blocking a referendum.
He promised with a majority he'd deliver a referendum. However he and most people thought were in for a hung parliment nobody really really expected the coalition to decimate the lib dems quite the way it did. They might of performed badly nationally but most people liked their lib dem MP so a lot of seats would be okay on a local level.
That lost him his lib dem safety net to get out of a referendum which he never waned to give and thought he could weasel his way out with.
So he calls it but standard perception is Remain will win afterall most polls point a definite trend towards remain. Even leave top bods Boris and Gove think Remain will win so they don't prepare what to do next.
Last Thursday as polls close even Mr. Farage accepts Remain has probably won.
David rage quits Friday morning when he realises what collasal idiot he's been.
This was referendum that was never meant to happen and even if it did the result was supposed to be fairly certain.
On the not knowing enough about Europe I agree I'm smart enough and well read enough to understand a fair amount and make some modicome of an informed decision. But to pretend I understand everything and all the intracacies would be a complete lie I'm still learning stuff after the vote, I'd quite happily assert that less than winning margin of voters had full understanding of what they were voting for.

To leave the EU or remain is obvious but it get gets more complex after that.
Remain with further intergration to Europe to eventual superstate.
Remain with the same level we have currently.
Remain with the Cameron's deal.
Remain but try to pull away further.
Remain but try to reform from the inside.
Leave to negotiate a better remain standard (Boris suggested this one during the campaign).
Leave but negotiate a similar style deal with EU to Norway.
Leave but negotiate a similar style deal with EU to Norway but get to restrict immigration.
Leave get 350 million for the NHS/week, severely restrict immigration.
Leave negotiate trade/visas with each member state seperately.
Leave kick all foreigners out restart the Empire.
There are probably some I missed.
Then add into the fact very few people will understand the implications and ramifications of any of those options.

I'd guess that a decisive minority didn't really consider much else apart from curbing immigration.
Prob Ncurd he was admitting to that sort of thing yesterday.
Seriously i hope you can pin point the scum.
It's the football hooligan mentality ATM, the minority now that they think they have the numbers on their side they can do what they want and try an pick on individuals, whereas the majority (I like to believe at least) of leave voters are at least civilised to others.
I'm hoping that after a week things start to get a bit more civilised in general, people can stop blaming the older gen (Which is starting to **** me off, yes they are old but are citzens of this country and therefore should have a right to vote, maybe if some of the lazy members of the younger gen bothered to vote things might have been different), people can stop targeting foreigners, and that we can work together to at least go forward one way or another.
Trouble is the media will just continue to stir things up and that goes for the Right and Left and things like QT and Vine show.

There's a hell of a lot of precedent, things are going extremely wrong from the go, some politicians are starting to give lip service to the idea and in Farage's sentiment, the narrow margin suggests that this is unresolved. Leave has the democratic mandate right now, but with a "material change in circumstances" (i.e. a big swing in public sentiment), a new democratic mandate may need to be sought.

A bit of tongue and cheek. But looking at everything going on in England, I'd be very worried for yourselves across the board.
Our seniors, A side and u20s just went unbeaten in all their games over the summer, that's pretty great.
