On gay marriage it should also be noted quite a few people are still opposed or don't agree Parliament is well ahead of the curve on this one compared to general public in terms % voting for it. There are those who believe civil partnerships were good enough. It's good parliament really needs to lead the way on this stuff and I'm completely in favour. That some member are dithering on it just shows it's not clear cut. I'd rather a leader who was a massive proponent for these rights but our choices were Farron or Lamb and Farron was the only one with a plan....being butchered in the GE left our choices rather slim.
