This is the worst refereeing I've seen of the scrum in a long time. Australia constantly holding off the feed, pulling the scrum down, etc.

Totally agree Peyper cost the AB's this game I feel australia was handed ball on a plater at every opportunity almost exactly the same as the french game in that WC quarter final!!!

The ref was biased anybody with half an eye could see this.

That said I felt Australia over enthused us at times. So a bit of a wake up call and lucky to get out with the draw. I think the Aussies will be far more gutted than NZ going forward.

Ugh. A bit of a lackluster game there. Don't the Abs have anyone on the team capable of scoring a try? I just thought there attack was totally off (defense was great, but that attack...ugh).

Well I wouldn't say he cost us the game, but I do think Peyper had a large influence on how the game played out.

I certainly don't think he was biased... Just bad.

They were better but as I said I thought they were helped a bit by constantly getting ball they didnt deserve.

Between the two dubious yellows and the scrum calls I cant see anything but a very average Reffing performance to remember this game for.

a draw...Wallabies will take that, especially given how lost they looked in the 1st half, the lacking fundamentals in parts, the super silly mistakes...but the AB did answer present today and were brilliant on defense, and the Wallabies too obviously but I feel the AB just looked a bit rusty on attack, as usual at the start of a tour/tournament.
I guess this match is testament to just how improved the Wallabies are, and the leveling in quality of teams. Although it was played in Australia, this is still more of a loss for NZ than for Wallabies, and Aus really are the winners today.

NZ will be looking to stuff their trans-Tasman cousins next week at Eden Park.
A try-less Bledisloe, huh...well, happened as recently as 2012 though, but who would've bet on a 12 all draw with no tries ?

P.S.: yeah, some shiit calls, but honestly on both sides.

Odd, nail biting game.

Hooper should be kicking himself (rightly) for not taking those three points but, much like Robshaw against SA a few years back, he'll learn. Link should be kicking himself for not starting with Foley.

The All Blacks were a bit unlucky with some later penalty calls, notably Barrett's yellow. I feel that cost them because they had to play the last ten with no experienced game manager, although that didn't have that much possession tbf. Lack of depth at hooker also showed, as Mealamu looks like a spent force.

Big step up from the Wallabies though and the Boks must be licking their lips at the thought of trying to dominated New Zealand at the breakdown and win a load of penalities.

Stop blaming the ref.

How many times did New Zealand threaten the Wallaby try line. 2, 3 times? Wheras Australia spent most that half camped on or around the 22. Not to mention they had a very strong case to claim and All Black was holding on when the ball was recovered on the AB try line.

I think the Wallabies should be pretty disappointed at the result, given they had twice as much possession and territory and had to make half as many tackles. They aren't going to get a better chance than tonight at home in the rain.

Oh well, don't really care about a win streak, and a draw isn't anywhere near as bad as a loss.

you're sarcastic and all, but that guy might go as far as frowning and speaking to Peyper with a mildly stimulated tone and convey his somewhat discontent to the man if he ever does see him. Don't underestimate him. You don't know him. You don't know him...
