Interestingly the waters get muddier...
I just read the district court statements, on the facilitation of return. They distinctly determine this is to Facilitate and not Effectuate the return of Garcia, and even states the district court essentially cannot demand an Effectation of return of a foreign national.
I find it interesting that the 9-0 decision places such importance on those 2 words:
Facilitate - to make an action easier
Effectuate - to make something happen, or cause it to be done
I also just watched video of the AG offering to provide a plane, and Facilitate his return, in the oval office, in front of Trump and Bukele.
So, it's fair to say, this case is not the 'Maryland man' mistaken identity evil Trump ignoring the courts and breaking laws case people are nefariously claiming it to be, it's far more complex, with muddied waters of an El Salvador illegal (i dont like the word alien), wrongly deported, with near 0 will from the government to reverse the error.
I was considering that this is a bad case for the Democrats to fight Trump on, but I think it might have been a set up, with pictures of senator Van Heylan (hahaha) making a vlog if his journey being disrupted by evil El Salvadorian military, only to be mocked hours later on X by Bekele posting pictures of him sipping Penacoladas at a beautiful beach bar with Garcia...
This picture of him will be used for the mid terms lol, what was he thinking?!
Anyway, without a further update I'm done with the subject, I've read articles from CNN, Fox, BBC, NYT, NYP, The Guardian, AlJazeera, and Huff blwdi Post, and my stance is simple, I dont know, I'm not privy to the confidential info the judges were, and both Trump's team and Dems are politicking hard to skew the optics of this case.
Anyone taking a side on this subject is either niaive or one eyed, but make up your own minds
