Shows what can happen when politicians want to do something quickly (would it be cynical of me to question whether this, and the load of money we paid Iran this week may have something to do with trying to bring down energy prices?)

Yeah they were holding her hostage over money we essentially stole from Iran it looks like they finally found a way to make it palatable. But its taken tireless campaigning to do so I think the latest hunger strike and Christmas by her husband gave it finally the public recognition it needed.

I was very worried about it this morning when a journalist asked Johnson about it this morning remember how this entire affair started luckilly he appears to have not said anything colossally stupid. Her plight being one of the many many reasons he should of never been considered as PM.
 
It is funny, but it's absolutely infuriating that someone so thick can find themselves in a position of authority.

What did she do next, meet with Rolls Royce and demand to know when they will get rid of jet engines?

I read that earlier and thought it was a good piece.

Other than the odd visit to China or Belarus, I still can't see how Putin gets back on the international stage after what he's done. I also can't see many of the sanctions being lifted until he's gone. He's pretty much persona non grata on the world stage.
 
Just a stream of broken promises and ******* over the people of this country. But something something, Labour would be worse, Socialism, get Brexit done and boom, Conservatives back in despite ******* up everything they touch and being the most corrupt, incompetent, morally bankrupt and scandal hit administration in decades.

It's almost like they think we're too distracted by Ukraine and Nazanine to notice.

Sacked all staff, replaced with agency and said the sacked staff are welcome to apply to be agency staff - absolute scum move

Even had the agency staff sat in buses at the docks ready to go straight on after everyone was binned off - Union workers refusing to leave, good on them
