In my letter to my MP, I suggested that the invitation should be withdrawn, and offered to Zelenskyy instead - even though he'd likely be too busy to accept it.

It's good that Starmer is trying to take a lead, but how the hell do you leave out Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania? They are 3 countries with some of the biggest stakes in this.

Look like its unclear apologies we're given but we don't know the reasons why.

It doesn't explicitly say, but Starmer apologising for not inviting them and the Lithuanian President saying the discussions are important suggests so.

I think their omission has become more of a talking point after Fridays **** show in the Oval office which totally changed the dynamic of today's summit. Does seem a bit odd that they weren't invited though..
