A Political Thread pt. 2

Pew Research has findings from a mid-year international survey on views of Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu, which found 25% of Australians holding a favourable and 74% an unfavourable view of Israel, compared with a net median across 24 countries of 29% and 64%. Australia tied with the United States as the country with the highest ideological polarisation on the subject: 90% of left-identifiers professed themselves unfavourable compared with 76% for centrists and 46% for those on the right. Australians held a more negative view of Netanyahu than Americans, with 20% expressing some or a lot of confidence that he would do the right thing in world affairs, compared with 72% for little or no confidence.

You would’ve thought Australians of all people would like Israel. Maybe the history of Israel isn’t imperialist enough for their liking.

It seems Guidlford isngoing to struggle to keep his job, the West Midlands Police claim about Maccabi fan violence in Netherlends was countered by Dutch police, and when the fact that there were 2 threats of violence, sprcifically from 'vigilante groups' of armed violence towards Jews visiting the city came out, Guildford was asked why this was not disclised to the public, or at the first hearing, his response was 'well this is the first time you soecifically asked about it'.

Do it turns out, the racists were right, Islamic extremists threat to visiting Maccabi fans was too high to allow them to visit, and the Maccabi fans were blamed unfairly for being violent instead.

Do police heads learn nothing, and does 'without fear or favour'mean nothing anymore?!

Another stunning success for privatisation and short term thinking.

It's an absolute joke that this situation was ever allowed to happen. Also the convenience that the company went into liquidation as soon as the contract finished so it can't meet any obligations should be investigated by the police.

The law needs changing to enable people to pursue these arseholes who use liquidation to avoid legal accountability

At some point the UK is going to need a conversation about do we need to increase defence spending, sooner rather than later.

The next question is how would we pay for it. It would either be taxes or cuts currently. Neither are political winners.

Military in we need more war budget shocker. Its an interesting time, Russia is being lauded as the great fear, theyre not, and realistically if Trump turns out to be the annexer in cheif and takes Greenland, Canada, Gaza, hell even Scotland, an increase in spending will be like throwing a toothpick at an elephant. We are far better applauding him on hos conquests and send Bedinoch over as tribute.

Ive got a better idea...

Call Swinney, offer him the independance he wants, and have him send Scottish troops to the Ukraine and wipe Russia off the map... as he just said he would like to do hahahah
