Interestingly Italy have suspended Schengen free movement agreement with Spain... usually this is coordinated and done for terror threats, sporting events etc... the last time i remember this being done for migration was Denmark putting a hard border with Germany after Merkels million
They’ll all be trying to get to England.
It’s a terrible situation for Spanish people.

Labour hold Greater Manchester

No majority so went to 2nd favourites
1st round:
Labour 46.68%
Reform: 20.78%
Green: 12.06%
Restore: 8.59%
Conservatives: 7.62%
Lib Dems: 2.73%

2nd round:
Labour: 66.32%
Reform: 33.68%

Reform more than doubled their number of votes whereas Labour almost halved theirs - shame it was such a low turnout, think it'd be interesting to see where the voters migrated to, other than the couch
Conservatives dropped 20k and last time round the independent candidate got > 50k, whereas this years independent got < 3k
Looking at last times independent (Nick Buckley) I imagine a number of his voters will have gone to reform (he used to be reform before going more extreme)

Just shows how popular Burham is but also pretty close to no 2nd round. That however shows most of Reform is them plus Restore plus a ton amount of Tories. Tories would rather have no second vote.

So kinda shows where the coubtry is majority good meaning folk. 1/3 maddening.

I mean, both the Green and Lib Dem candidates called a 2nd round a massive issue for Labour...

Ultimately result as expected, Labour positoon forever, Burnham was popular in Manchester, hes shown massive solidaroty to the North and Manchester afyer leaving AND the Labour candidate was doing the job lol.

Congrats to Labour, 2nd round results were telling, as said Reform just had Tory/Restore vote share, but a lot of voters from all over the isle had trust in Craig.

Yeah it is.
Europe has to do something though.

I didnt realise Finland and Denmark reacted and backed Italys move, and Czech prime minister urged the EU to suspend Spains Schengen membership.

Even France and Portugal have tightened security on theor borders!

It seems the ever closer union dont have much trust in the Spanish government, and the Spannish have come out calling some of their actions unlawfull and demagoguery.

Maybe the 1.2million naturalised by Spain, and the Merkel history has made some european leaders nervous?

Depends on the billionaire I suppose. What is it about Bill Gates that makes him a bad guy. Other than putting microchips in the COVId vaccine of course.

Becoming the largest farm land owner on the USA, im not anti billionaore, im anti predatory capitolistic practices...

You seemingly trust bad people who say things you agree with, im anti allowing individuals too much power.

You mean private land owner, right?

What % does he own. What are his motivations?

Doesnt matter, he owns too much. Same as the other Billionaires, whether its open AI going from being a charitable venture to profit driven, media, space, or politics, there should be caps and limits on influence and market monopolies, but hey what % of US farmland are you happy for Gates to own, 1%, 10% 85%?

He owns 0.3% apparently.

What system would you like to see replace capitalism comrade?

1% 10% 85% whats your number your happy for him to own?
Let’s say half a %. He’s way under that. But again, it’s why I also asked about motivations. So far Bill Gates is an evil dude because he owns 0.3% of farmland for some reason you haven’t provided. Is there anything else about him that is evil other than that and microchips in vaccines?
