It's absurd that people think that Labour MPs ought to be more accountable to their membership (422k) than the people who vote for them (9.3 million in the last election).
They should probably bring back the electoral college.

Don't get me wrong, i am first in line to criticize chardonnay socialist and despise few things more than people who live on benefits when they are able to work.
But you are on another league.
I strongly believe in helping people who cannot help themselves (let's call it group A).
I also strongly believe in not giving a single cent to those who can help themselves and chose not to (Group B).
You put both of those in the same bag.
I understand that sometimes it is very hard to practically distinguish one group from another, but your post implies you are willing to sacrifice Group A at the expense of (rightfully imo) not helping Group B.
I strongly disagree with that.
You also missed millions of people who contribute to the economy through the informal sector (housewives, unregistered volunteers, etc.).

Like a lot of the PLP, you continue to focus on dragging Corbyn through the mire, rather than the Tories.
And yes, he's comparable to Sanders in the sense that he's a leftist anti-establishment candidate, normally on the fringes of politics, finding support in the post-recession, polarising, political climate.

You're right I probably spend too much time dragging Corbyn through the mire - but there we go. If the corpse is dead, I might as well not bother concealing my incredulity at the man jumping into the mire again and again.
Corbyn's call was clearly a criticism directed towards anti-semites, who attack Jewish people for the actions of Israel:

Yes but criticising Israel (not matter how justified it is) is not exactly the best of things to do at an antisemitism event. Anybody with some idea of Jewish community knows that.

And J'nuh, fair enough if you don't think that was criticism of Israel by comparing it to ISIS (the name that springs most readily to mind when we're talking self-styled Islamic states), but there's plenty who do think it was and think that had no place at Labour's formal repudiation of anti-Semitism.
