Australia vs England (3rd Test) - 16/07/22

England's defence consistently make so little effort to drift across field and have been that way for years. Freeman should have got that but so many teams have been able to make us madly scramble on the wings, it's a tactic that everyone has spotted and is exploiting.

Nowell does really well to cover the inside pass.
Not sure if he doesn't tell Steward he's there, or if Steward didn't trust him.

Trust Nowell to make his tackle, and that's crisis averted (for a phase or so)

Yeah I was thinking that - imagine a communication thing as Nowell was going full pelt so not much time to shout

Though Koroibete was in support so if Steward had drifted it was an easy offload to score eitherway

Freeman's poor attempt at an ankle tap was the killer in the move

The killer was Porter tickling koroibete and then jogging back

Few more of these passes stick and England will be on the end of a hiding. Looking totally clueless.
