Aviva Premiership 2017/18 Round 21

So, assuming that Sarries and Pests beat LIrish and Saints...
Next week, with 6 matches simultaneously, should look like...

Bath Vs LIrish - Irish are gone regardless, Bath can still make 6th with a 5 pointer and favourable results (O fo Glos and 0-2 for Sale).
Falcons Vs Pests - Winner plays a SF in Barnet, loser plays a SF in Exeter.
Quin.s Vs Exeter - complete dead rubber, Ex are unassailable, Quin's can change league position, between 9th and 11th.
Sale Vs Leicester - Sale playing for a place in Europe, Tigers can finish no higher than 5th, and can only drop out of the top 6 if routed (and Glos win in Barnet).
Saints Vs Wuss - Pride at stake, either could finish 9th, either could finish 11th.
Saracens Vs Glos - Dead rubber for Sarries who will finish 2nd, Glos can drop out of Europe if they lose.

Always worth remembering, league points > wins > points difference > points scored > head-to-head

Actually we're in the European Cup next season, regardless of what happens at The Allianz, courtesy of Cardiff.

Okay so Glous finish 7th and IF Racing win the champions cup and some how drop from 3rd all the way down ton 7th (Which is still possible).

Racing need 2 points in their final 2 games to confirm top 6 though.
Fair point. The Racing situation is unlikely but it could happen.

Exeter could probably put out all their reserves and younger players and still smash Quins based on how they're playing. It's all about who plays who in the semis and top 6. I would have said Leicester were fine, but after losing 2 games on the bounce it's possible. Dunno whether Gloucester can win at Sarries though unless they roll over, which is very doubtful. Might rest some players though.

It was quite annoying watching Bath playing Gloucester. Why does it seem to take until the end of the season for us to actually try to play rugby rather than "who can kick the ball the most and concede the most penalties"?

Jesus christ, listening to Dallaglio fumbling through chatting **** is difficult.

What was that from De Jong? Just jumped on a guy off the ball?

No penalty?

Pleased to see O'Callaghan go out with a win. A very fine career.

Quins are abject though. Even if Kingston's the main issue, there were still a number of highly capped players on display who ought to have fronted up and ensured they didn't capitulate. Feels like the problems may run deep.
