Champions Cup 24/25 - Saturday, 24 May

Apparently started between Jalibert and Dingwall

Ok so this is some context before.
It doesn't to me sound like anything major or unique.

Guessing Pollock decided to approach Poirot and then that happened with the throat

He was trying to keep game flowing, but then THE TMO got involved correctly, but was too lenient on the 'unsporting behaviours' such as deliberately knock ons, and was inconsistent with the high tackles.
The Bordeaux one was a no arms shoulder directly to the head, whereas the Northampton one was a chest tackle, where the head moved forward on impact to make contact.

If the 2nd one was yellow, (correct), then the first one was red.
He also got overturned with tackling a player in the air and obvious high tackles
The scrum penalty he gave Bordeaux in the second half was also a joke. He pinged Iyogen for dropping his bind, that generally happens when their tight head has collapsed belly first🙄. I think they scored just after that one

I thought same, he won battle and the TH moved back letting him go.

Saints fans - "Oh the game needs more personality let the boy be cocky"
Also Saints fans - "Oh dear. That's going into the range of obsessive territory. Sad or creepy ?!"

I'm sorry but you can't just give it and then when it comes to eating throw the spoon away
I'm sorry but letting someone get that far under your skin is a worry.
You're supposed to be celebrating not obsessing.
I have a qualification in Sports Psych, that behaviour isn't acceptable to me.
And that's just my opinion.

What does Sports Psych have to do with it?
Atheltes are among the most petty people in the world.

One of the greatest and most famous sportsman of all time Michael Jordan was the pettiest person I have ever seen. I imagine a lot of athletes drive stems from being petty and wanting to prove someone wrong

It clearly didn't affect them enough to lose the game. Isn't this what people wanted in the game? More personality and edge in a game

Rugby union hates personalities. It only wants the good and never the bad.

Well, people are multi-dimensional and people's greatest strengths are often their downfall. But that humanity is what makes great storytelling.

As a Saint fan really not bothered. If people want to take the mick crack on. Tigs fans using as an excuse for a dig at Saints isn't exactly a shock.

LBB and Jalibert celebrating.

Nothing bad about it imo.

Pollock is an awesome young player, future will be bright for England

I find that picture really sad tbh. It almost feels personal to them. I could understand if he had celebrated like that against them or France...it's weird imo
Jailbert himself is a proper shithouse. In fact France have plenty ATM...

Of course it's personal. Have you seen all the various sports documentaries on the best of the best?

Tom Brady 25 years later talks about how Michigan and the NFL disrespected him. Michael Jordan used to make up stories to motivate himself.

It's not business, it's all personal. It's not a sport, it's combat. This is how the greatest athletes get themselves in the right mindset to win.

Nah the true greats don't care about the actions of a 20 year old in a game they didn't really concern them
It's small minded and petty.

Tbf, I think it is the same amount of shithouse in every countries, why especially France... ?

Anyway, we will never know exactly the entire story
