Champions Cup 24/25 - Saturday, 24 May

Tbf, I think it is the same amount of shithouse in every countries, why especially France... ?

Anyway, we will never know exactly the entire story
Nah France have it nailed ATM
They certainly do more football style play acting than anyone else currently.

what's the point of bringing up how old he is? He's a man. This culture of infantilizing people until they're in their thirties is a bit ridiculous

poor Jalibear is only 26, just a kid! poor lil orphan bielle biarrey...

I had wondered if OllyM had a different angle or similar.

For what it's worth from what I saw live yesterday, I don't think he's deliberately dropped knees into head but I do think it was avoidable and reckless, as per the laws I linked yesterday.

Nothing in it. Unfortunate rugby incident.

Doesn't look intentional, it seemed like he was trying to jump over him, however it was idiotic and he should have been trying to go round him. It's not unreasonable to assume a player on the floor will be trying to get up pretty much straight away if not held. Was he expecting Furbank to simply keep lying there?

I personally think it's reckless. Yes there's not a lot of time, but Furbank is clearly in his way and even if he doesn't lift his head the French player still has to run over him or jump him. He makes 0 effort to avoid Furbank regardless of whether Furbank lifts his head.

It's something that's very easy to take the **** out of and rugby players usually like a bit of slagging. Doing any deep dive into anyone's mindset based on a couple of pics is pretty wild.
Ah, but... they were mildly critical of the Messiah!

Ok I thought it was all bants before but this is pretty pathetic, guy didn't even play in the final
UBB are a great story in that they're a fairly low budget French side, had 9 academy grads playing yesterday and attracted other top French guys through success and good vision. I thought yesterday was innocent enough.

This screams another French team who'll have 12 - 24 months in the sun and fade away. Like ROG and Aldritt losing the head after the 2023 final for perceived slights that had nothing to do with Leinster.
