- multiple head contacts completely ignored.
- opposition knocks the ball on, Bath get done for offside pen conceded.
- YC warnings not actually enforced.

Yes Bath could have been done better at time but had they have won it would be in spite of terrible officiating and to suggest otherwise IMO is just wrong.

No complaints from me. The better team played better, and won the match.
Proud of the boys for sticking in there and keeping it as close as it was for so long (despite the scoreboard at the end).

Were it not for the salary cap, we'd look to take the learnings and improve, and use it as a launch pad for the next couple of years. As is, we'll be losing key players, and rebuilding. Squad will be weaker next year, despite most of them being better for today's experience.
C'est la vie. That's the price you pay for a competitive league (at least in comparison to what it would be without the cap).
Of course, I've also been told that I'm not welcome as a fan of any PRL club from next year, so far less bothered than I would otherwise be.

I’m not sure it works like that, as I understand it the tmo has access to all live feeds, he can’t however just go back at will and zoom and manipulate for all of that he’s at the broadcasters mercy.

Nah, Bath got some rough non calls but the right team won
Bath could hand until about 60 mins and then depth started to show - though Baths back 5 subs were solid

No, he played the wrong angle of the try which was spotted by the assistant referee.

The TMO can only ask for replays. If the TMO misses in real time then it’s missed as the TV guy won’t offer it. Even if the TMO asks for it he might not receive the angles are angles that are not tampered.
Two yellow cards are worth on average 14 points to a team.

Exactly this as if having more or less home advantage and massive fan support behind every decision isn’t enough this, the yc vs no yc for infringing winds me up, if you give a warning bloody give out the yellow at no point did he say if the next one occurs in the next half an hour I’m going to bin someone it has an expiry, to then issue Bath with a yellow without warning seems very harsh to me, the better team probably did win, this doesn’t mean we have to pretend it was officiated fairly on the day.

It’s actually worse than it looks. The replay of the Lawrence maul penalty focussed in on the exact and only infringement. Difficult for a TV guy to know that. They have a rugby guy sitting beside the TV editor. “Rewind…there..show that Bath guy jumping on the maul…put it on the big screen”
