I have to agree 100% with Mr. Verster, and why do they pick on them of all the teams? is it purely a financial decision and with the aim to assist both franchises/unions/clubs in making the financial burden less of a worry? IMHO this merge will be more detrimental to the Cheetahs than expected... for 1 reason will be, they will have to do the same as when the Cheetahs were with the Lions known as the cats and had to share home fixtures between 2 stadiums...
This Southern Kings issue has become a real annoying issue and I for one feel that SARU made a very hastily decision which seems to backfire in their faces and now they're trying everything to help the Kings, but in doing so they will hurt the other more established franchises in the process.
