Breast cancer has a very high cure rate, so hopefully your sister -in-law will be okay. She can probably use a hand taking care of the kids when she has a doctor's appointment, so you could help in that respect.

Don't know yet how bad the cancer is. Honestly, I've never had to deal with something like this - I suppose people just get on with it until they can't.
