That beat was phat son. 8/10

Another from The Velvet Underground;

Masochism - you've got to hate it.

Lyrics that I don't even bother to understand, but it's a classic. Can hear everything the Doors did after that, so 10/10.

But I prefer her indoors:

Would you send your child to the greatest jam session in history if Sesame Street were in charge? Especially with a young Michael Jackson on drums ....

6/10, most of it for originality

What I do when I can on a Friday night. Can't beat it.

Erm, not realy my thing (not even entirely sure what it is either), points for it looking bloody fantastic in there, must be fun as heck.
4/10

Springbok Nude Girls - Illuminate

Yes there are much better Nudies songs, but this seems to be one of the few that are on Youtube and one of the fewer that look and sound good after being uploaded, but still a nice song in my opinion

The Nudies are probably not just the best damn rock band ever to come out of SA, but one of my favorite bands of all time
Arno Carstens = Legend.

5/10 major flop. mainly because i was expecting some lovely sharks flasher-esque fillies.

Tinariwen - Amassakoul 'N' Ténéré [/b]
Agree - was hoping for shark girls in gold bikinis. What was he thinking?

Me likey Tenere. Berber music? The Arabs look down on that, so it's good enough for me. Wish I knew what he was singing about. 8/10.

Greatest lyric ever:
"Moving like a tortoise, full of rigor mortis" - yes, it's rap, but a happy happy beat from the best rappers of all:

tenere means desert. They're touaregs, saw them live last year.

anyway, NWA get 7/10. No, they're not the best rappers of all by a considerable way but they were good and innovative, more on the content/ beat side. Ice Cube wrote most of their lyrics..

Cee*Why feat. Jehst & Tommy Evans - Water Torture

Listen to this, analyse the lyrics like you're a poetry student. This is on the top level of MCing.

its a diffrent experiance listening to music in another language. however i can tell it isnt bustin a cap in someones ass, so ill give it a 6/10 - which isnt bad from a rocker like myself.

heres a dire straits song which i found, just flicking through some of there songs, absolute gem!

Where do you think youre going? - dire straits

Gotta love Mark Knopfler, haven't heard that one in a while. Bloody fantastic though 10/10.

Was scouring youtube for this particular song but all the videos are either poor quality live versions or remakes with Dave Gilmour. Found the original song but is accompanied by some random home made video.

Astronomy Domine by Pink Floyd with Barrett on guitar and vocals (not Gilmour);

Interesting to know what people make of this era of PF, I love it.
