Sale sign JJ Scheepers

I be honest, I know nothing about him
28 years old played in South Africa, Italy, Mexico and South Korea but even then doesn't seem to have played more than 10 games in a season

Doesn't make sense from a EQP point of view, surely a champ lock with a similar profile?

Plus point for Sale Xavier Roe seems a done deal would be a great signing that for a Quirke replacement

Yeah, pointless signing - 4th? 5th? choice shouldn't be non-EQP
Sounds like he's spent most of his career playing semi-pro, and isn't even a full time lock so we've not got yet another 6 who can cover lock

Pointless

I don't think I've ever come across a 28 year old "professional" rugby player who has played so little top level rugby.

Do you think it’s time for a change in coaches/ management? Or not yet.

Sales season has been blighted by injuries but the rugby sale have played has been terrible. The only team worse for attack this season is possibly England. Great defence at times but they are never going to win games kicking good possession away.

Not yet, but i'm edging closer that way - we've played some....ok rugby, at times, especially earlier in the season
I'm hoping the steadfast kicking game is a response to the crazy amount of injuries and thinking a simple gameplan is the way to go with how mishmash the side is, but that's probably wishful thinking

Think Sanderson made the playoffs three times in his first three years, so he has some credit in the bank for this season - if it's still garbage next season then it's time for a change

Rude. Are Quins now completely under the radar?

(Having not watching many quins games this season) I like to think Quins play like that school boy team that just chuck the ball to their best player and hope he scores (Mr Marcus Smith).

But that is just a guess as I haven’t watched them enough.

He really needs some media training as well, as I think he messed up a lot of negotiations early in the season.
All for character, but his comments were really naive.

But I think Orange told him off and he learned his lesson from it. Going to be a big test for him, though make or break for him
