[COVID-19] General Discussion

I think Johnson has actually given himself an out here tho, by saying he reached the decision after a face to face conversation with Cummings, if it turns out that those reports of other journeys are accurate he can claim Cummings lied to him and try and alleviate himself of any responsibility.

It's cynical but that's politics

Johnson claimed that Cummings and his wife were incapacitated. I hope the media ask why then they were able to withstand a 270 mile road trip with one of them presumably behind the wheel. Would that not have endangered the child?

Childcare my arse. Cummings is an arrogant narcissist who thinks he's above the law which only applies to the plebs.

I'm just wondering how many times they would have stopped whilst driving, and potentially came into contact with others.

Did anyone just see the massive sigh from Robert Peston when his streamed was moved to the next question?

Has the advice changed, completely avoided the question he's getting roasted here.

I'm telling at TV like it's ******* rugby match and ref has made the most bonkers decisions imaginable.

This is on a par with the Prince Andrew interview. BoJo is having a mare folks.

He was right when he said a distinction should be made between Cummings and the former Scottish CMO. Her second home was empty and she wasn't symptomatic and yet he made out that Cummings acted responsibly and legally.

Boris was thinking "phew a question that isn't about Dominic Cummings, that's a relief....oh ffs it is and directly mentions a person who has died from a lack of PPE"
