man, those are some cheap ass playaz...also, this thread made me realize for the first time Latin numerals could be put in an order that is impossible, as opposed to our current Hindu-Arabic ones.
*whiny sound* I'd make a VX myself, but the bright light on the field hurts my eyes. *whiny sound*

Who is Paul O'Connor? My mind gone blank

Who is Paul O'Connor? My mind gone blank

He's best friends with Bryan Moore, lol

I did a team, all players from the professional era, I'm a bit surprised Habana is ranked so low and Pienaar and De Villiers ranked so high (and at blindside when he played openside), but I suppose whoever came up with those $ values had a list of their own.

1 Os du Randt ($4) - The best loosehead I've ever seen.
2 Du Plessis ($2) - Perhaps not the lineout thrower or scrummager as some of the others but IMO the best in open play, like having an extra flanker on the field.
3 Hayman ($3) - Perhaps the best tighthead I've ever seen, too bad he left NZL in his prime.
4 Matfield ($3) - Terrific lineout option also had a fantastic work rate in his prime.
5 Rettalick ($1) - Still young but near his prime and is more destructive in open play than any other lock of the last 30 years
6 Collins ($3) - destructive runner and devastating tackler is the enforcer of this squad
7 Smith ($1) - TBH I don't think the difference between him and McCaw is that great, and saving $4 here is clutch
8 Read ($4) - Like having another player in the backline, athletic, high work rate and can also do the dirty work
9 Gregan ($3) - Small but tough, smart and with a great delivery.
10 Carter ($5) - A better kicker and defender than Larkham and better with the ball in hand than Wilko, prime Carter was magnificent
11 Lomu ($5) - Habana might be the best bargain on here but I couldn't pass on the devastating Lomu
12 SBW ($1) - Could have been one of the all time greats if he had focused on Union, off-loading to O'Driscoll would have been a thing of beauty
13 O'Driscoll ($5) - Simply sublime, Gerber and Sella were outstanding but they dominated a different era
14 Robinson ($1) - Across from Lomu the electric Billy Whizz would be the perfect compliment
15 Cullen ($4) - just an incredible finisher

1. Graham Price
2. John Smit
3. Carl Hayman
4. Victor Matfield
5. Brad Thorn
6. Jerry Collins
7. Richie McCaw
8. Wayne Shelford
9. George Gregan
10. Daniel Carter
11. Jonah Lomu
12. Ma'a Nonu
13. Stirling Mortlock
14. Jeff Wilson
15. Christian Cullen

Rodrigo Roncero ($1)
Bismarck du Plessis ($3)
Phil Vickery ($8)
John Eales ($12)
Martin Johnson ($16)
Hill ($21)
Burger ($23)
Dallaglio ($25)
Augustin Pichot ($27)
Dan Carter ($32)
Jean de Villiers ($35)
Phillipe Sella ($38)
Jonah Lomu ($42)
Jason Robinson ($43)
Mils Muliaina ($44)

With a dollar to spare!

1: Os Du Randt $4
2: Bismarck Du Plessis $2
3: Carl Hayman $3
4: Paul O'Connell $1
5: Martin Johnson $4
6: Jerry Collins $3
7: Richie McCaw $5
8: Lawrence Dallaglio $2
9: George Gregan $3
10: Dan Carter $5
11: Jonah Lomu $5
12: SBW $1
13: BOD $5
14: Jason Robinson $1 (Shocked at this blokes price!!!)
15: Mils Muliaina $1

Backs are madness with Carter + Gregan feeding BOD, Lomu, SBW, Robinson and Muliaina. Should be rock solid scrummaging unit, line outs might be slight weakness but two good jumpers and LD could jump if needed. Breakdown no issue with McCaw nicking ball and Collins, Bismarck and MJ smashing rucks. MJ captain, inspirational leader but loads of leaders out there as well.
