Decisive round in European nations cup ?

The game was played today in the Ukraine, Romania won 41-16. Thus, as expected, Romania finishes 2nd in this year's edition of the ENC, while the Ukraine got relegated (they were doomed no matter this last result anyway).

I'm puzzled. Is the ENC over or is it going to continue next year ? different sources say different things i don't know which one to trust anymore have FIRA and IRB even made up their minds about this ?

I think Ukraine stay in for one more year, I think the promotion/relegation is still every two years, but I agree its extremely confusing hearing different things from sources as well. I have no idea whether I am correct on this.

Not that it matters much for Ukraine in my opinion. Even if they get to stay one more year, they will still finish bottom and relegate anyway. The gap between them and Spain is too big.

Actually it makes a great difference for Ukraine, I think they are the best team from ENC lower divisions and if they continue improving we might have a new competition. A team that can beat Spain in 4 or 5 years. and I expected more from Romania 41-16 what was that about ? not the best result right before the WC
