Hahahahah, you watch club rugby, in England, which is marginally above the schoolboy level in NZ, only the size gives them the edge.
A league where teams play as though they are more afraid of losing than trying to win a game.
Say what you like about Hartley, but he is the best hooker in England and the most likely enforcer in the English pack. He may not be great at it compared to Johno, but he'd do a better job at it than any of the youngsters in the English pack and thats just where you are at the moment.
You have great talent in England and plenty of it, but the style of rugby promoted by the clubs, trying not to lose rather than trying to win, means that when the pressure is on at the top level the likes of Robshaw tries to do something he's not comfortable with, trying to win the game.
He should have reverted to type, taken the kick, and England would have gone through on the bonus point.
English club rugby is not just holding you back, it's taking you backwards.
Hartley doesn't have to try most of the time at Saints, he's that good. He can coast and still look better than any other hooker in the league.
He's the only English hooker that looks the business at the International level.
Maybe George in time, but not now while he's as green as a granny smith apple.
He can cause problems for the opposition and make himself a right pain in the jacksy.
As long as England refuse to play a 'proper sniffer' at open side they need someone to disrupt/slow down the oppositions ruck ball.
Hartley has a history of doing it at the top level.

I once saw him impose all over Mccaw's face.
