Eddie Jones, he tried but couldnt resist trying to influence Joubert :)

Meh....he should have used his time to highlight the Welsh propensity for cheating at the maul. It'll have a much bigger influence on the game.

What the ref should do, is at the first Wales mistake, blow his whistle seriously, take them to the England 22, give a line-out to Wales, and if anyone asks what the heck, he should answer he's just ruining the game. That should keep Eddie's mouth shut for a while.

Isnt it great having a head coach who fires little shots out there to the press, got so fed up of Stuart what a nice guy Lancaster being all respectful and kind. Glad EJ is ruffling a few feathers.

Hear! Hear!

Probably first blood to Ediie Jones, a little using the press never did anyone any harm, especially if you dont read it. Every front row forward is looking for an advantage, call it what you want illegal, cheating, or just bending the rules As i have previously said 6 CRIMMINALS ( FRONT ROW) AND ONE POLICEMAN (REF) it's obvious he is going to miss things, no one is that good not even Nigel. Got to give it to Eddie get in first and try and keep that advantage. England 1 Wales 0, mind you this will probably result in Wales bursting into song and singing even more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've already had that happen, the ref was called Steve Walsh.

It's been over 18hrs and I still can't get over the irony of a Welshman complaining about a coach mouthing off in the press.

Even going so far as to mention the referee by name is probably pushing it a little far methinks. Essentially, 'honest' Eddie is saying "We have the better pack, world rugby knows it and if it goes wrong, its Wales' fault"

Fair play Eddie, you tried but you couldnt help yourself. Is the pressure getting to you a little bit mate?

"If you are the referee, if you are Wayne Barnes or Craig Joubert, and you keep penalising Wales for pre-engaging, then all the smart guys in the commentators box say 'this referee is ruining the game'.

"But they are not ruining the game, it's the team that is scrummaging illegally which is ruining the game.

"So we want the referee to be really hard, and if he has to ruin the game, he has to ruin the game."

Got to laugh at the glaring contradiction here too. The refs are not ruining the game, but if they have to ruin the game they have to ruin the game. Im not sure he was fully sober when he said that

TBH the sound of EJ's voice gives me the screaming abdabs - let alone what words comes out of his mouth.
