Wasn't sure where to put this so decided here. Watching the Fiji game on Saturday I thought the blue kit looked quite good and it was time for a new top. £90 lighter and I'm not joking it's s***e. I got a 3XL, I'm 6'6 and 18 st. This shirt wouldn't fit a fly half and the quality of it is awful. Long gone are the days of Canterbury and even Cotton Traders when a shirt would last years, I reckon I'll get maybe 2 seasons out of this. Rant over.

Yeah the new wave of kit manufacturers are dire - Castore and Macron equally shite

There's just not enough money in rugby stash for any of the big boys to show an interest anymore though - I remember hearing that Macron give clubs the offer of a lump sum up front and Macron are fully in control of the store, or a standard percentage of sales deal, and that's why they managed to land so many deals out of nowhere.

There is loads of knock off on Vinted as well which I’ve never seen before. Not sure if that’s because the kit is castore or maybe it’s worth making knock off kits now rugby is more popular (the international game that is).

As a general rule I don't buy knock off stuff and I fully appreciate I'm fortunate that I can afford the genuine stuff but if they are going to take the p like the top I've got I may as well buy it from the market.

I purchased loads for my son as the price of kids sports shirts is ridiculous especially how they grow out of them.

So screw those greedy scummy companies.
