England players set to learn fate

On the fly-half thing...Wilko's been far better with Toulon than with England, and a 10 can only be as good as his runners.

I'd call Hodgson up, or maybe even Goode for the experience. I don't trust the Northampton two. Myler's a bit too ordinary imo and Geraghty's decision making at 10 is far too flaky.

We're looking at:

Flood, just back from injury and will be out of form
or
Wilkinson, well past it, sits too deep, poor and frequent kicking form hand
or
Myler, inexperienced and never really set the Premiership alight
or
Geraghty, very flaky and Northampton don't even think he's as good as Myler
or
Hodgson, excellent club level 10 but has proved time and time again he's not up to international level
or
Barkley, see Hodgson
or
Alex Goode, looks classy from fullback but judging on last week needs a lot more time playing 10 in the prem
or
Walder, clutching at straws now
or
Cipriani, who plays football.

Which leaves... Andy Goode. And though I'd never advocate his selection under normal circumstances, I can think Johnson might.

Hodgson played very well on the tour down south, but these were the matches that didn't really matter (as in, they weren't the test matches so didn't have the pressure) - so he could fold under the pressure of 6N or similar, but i don't think so - he's come on leaps and bounds since that ABs match a few years back
