First permanent red I've seen in a while, possibly since the 20min came in
K byeI’m not even watching the game and didn’t watch last week. Borthwick has single handedly decimated my care and enthusiasm for England rugby.
I think I only watched 2 6 nations games. I use to watch England religiously
I guess the argument is that you’re more justified as you’re trying to free your leg and can’t really do that without doing some kind of kicking motion. Why does it make a difference if he was holding on or not?
Does that justify kicking someone?
I don't think he was shithousing, getting a full foot of studs into your sternum really ******* hurts, can confirmGenge is shithousing, but the kick is well after he's free
Unfortunately he'll probably get a contract extension after this, the RFU absolutely love papering over cracksI’m not even watching the game and didn’t watch last week. Borthwick has single handedly decimated my care and enthusiasm for England rugby.

Yes, if he's preventing a player from playing. Why does it make a difference if he was holding on or not?

There wasn’t any cards at all in the wales Fiji game and I can’t remember the last time I saw that either. But yeah, don’t often see a straight red.First permanent red I've seen in a while, possibly since the 20min came in
Ah fair enough, misunderstanding on my partErrr...
Holding a player, especially a SH, down well after the tackle is shithousing.
Which doesn't deserve a set of studs in the chest after you've eventually released him.
NB: shithousing=/= play acting
I even understand your points about Borthwick not just this post but in general we prob agree on alot but I'm watching to support the 23 players on the pitch not Borthwick and I will watch and support my country for them. No matter because I'm an English rugby fan.Thx 4 reading
*I assume you can understand that language.
They played Wales in a gruelling test match the week before that featured Adam Beard. What's Fiji's excuse?
They've not even travelled for this, England spent their recovery time flying back from SA
Personally I still think defence looks poor. Still have players shooting out, still have players missing tackles, still lots of holes. Fiji have just been poor. Our defence is strong and physical and doing well but when you watch the breakdown the basics of guards seem to be lacking and a few fundermentals as if a SH is our defence coach and doesn't quite no haha.
That's what I mean, physically the players are fronting up but the cohesion is lackingPersonally I still think defence looks poor. Still have players shooting out, still have players missing tackles, still lots of holes. Fiji have just been poor.
