Excited to see how Thiago will add to Liverpool's midfield options. Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Henderson lack that creative spark, which hopefully Thiago can bring in.

I saw last season against the likes of Atletico how Liverpool struggled when facing teams who defend deep and the front 3 and full backs are marked out of the game.

What a dull first half between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Cue Rugby tackle by Christensen on Mane. Red card at end of first half. Who said footballers don't know how to tackle?

Watching the end of Spurs Newcastle there and the handball rule is just a joke.

Surprised I haven't found this thread before

as a life long Wimbledon fan I'm stoked to say we're unbeaten in the league (2x draw and a win) and our new stadium back on plough lane is almost finished and just down the road from our old home

3-1 Liverpool v Arsenal. Only got to see the 2nd half. First goal for Jiota.

Good ol' Wimbledon. Denied Liverpool the double in 1988. Laurie Sanchez scoring. Will never forget. Beasant saving Aldridge's penalty.

was a great game and Wimbledon Broadway was amazing for the trophy arriving, still have the game on DVD. We were lucky enough to go to the Charity Shield game a few months later

Hands up who saw the utd vs tottenham score being beaten. If so you're a liar.

England just beating the number 1 rank in the world, not bad going.

If it was in a final of a euros or World Cup then defo worth shouting about. Still, one of the biggest millstones around the necks of English sport that the England football team have not managed to win or even get to a final of a major tournament since 1966 and that was because all the games were played at Wembley.

Ridiculous challenge by Pickford in Merseyside derby today on VVD. Should have been red. And not picked up by VAR.

VAR ruling winning goal offside at the end also ridiculous. But VAR has saved Liverpool in the past and not understood. Just needs to be clearer and consistent for fans to understand.

And scandalous that Pickford did not get sent off for his scissor tackle on VVD and can't be retrospectively punished. Now he's out for the season with an ACL. Just compounded VAR not checking that and then ruling Hendo's goal out for "offside". Now to see how Liverpool react to it. VVD will be a massive loss, added to Allison being out for weeks won't help the defence. Maybe Fabinho to go back in defence and partner Matip or Gomez.

getting back to Plough Lane is going to be awesome, new stadium coming along very nicely, unfortunately thats not the away seats, would have been satisfying to make those from Milton Keynes sit in the "The Dons" seats

So apparently I'm the only Man U fanboy around? Been seeing red since the great Eric "Kung Fu" Cantona.....

Sir Bobby Charlton now diagnosed with Dementia. That's now the 5th member of the World Cup winning team.

Youngsters did Liverpool proud last night. Impressed with Kelleher. Need him with Allison looking increasingly injury prone.
