having fun playing rugby

Hi everyone
I have started a new rugby team (Bedfont Sports RFU) we are right next to Hatton Cross tube station.
We are currently looking for players of all ages and all skill levels
We are going to run three teams 12-15, 16-18 and over 18
But I am struggling to get new players involved because people who haven't played before think rugby is violent but it’s not.
Any ideas on how to change their minds and get new players involved
I only have one rule in my team everyone plays and has fun

You could try and get games of touch or tag rugby set up, and get people interested in it that way. If they think it's too violent, then playing either of the non-contact versions could get them interested, and they could make the progression into contact when they're hooked on it
