The Scarlets have been angered by Wasps' reaction to their 21-13 loss at Stradey Park last week, with Lawrence Dallaglio blasting his team for what he described as a sub-standard performance.
"It was an interesting reaction, they've been very hard on themselves and said they didn't perform," Jenkins told BBC Sport Wales.
"That's surprising because we've got a great track record ourselves in the Heineken Cup and have been very defiant at home over the years.
"We're mentally strong, and that has only been boosted by last week's win.
"Maybe Wasps' expectation was too big. We had looked at the game tactically and applied pressure to their weaknesses.
"It's not just Wasps, maybe it's an English thing but it never ceases to amaze me.
"There's always an expectation when an English side come down to play in Wales that they have a divine right to win irrespective of how they play.
"That's not the case, you have to be a good team to win down here."

Typical Dellaglio reaction there. Did the same after they lost at Murrayfield. He seems to be unable to accept that Llanelli were the better side on the day. While Wasps didn't play their best, Llanelli lifted their game.

Well Leinster are unchanged for tomorow's pool 5 match in Bourgoin, will be hoping for more of the same as last week, although we said that last year and only won by 5 points, would certainly take that this time round, could be tricky though. If we score early I'd say their heads will drop and we should win fairly comfortably, otherwise it could be an awkward day for Leinster.

Bonus point for Sale doesn't do much for Munster, but again like Bath and Leinster no ground lost merely matching each others performance.
Edinburgh's slim chances are well and truly gone after going down to Toulouse tonight.

Well it depends on the Llanelli v. Wasps result. Yeah I think it's a tall order but we'll probably give Llanelli a doing at Murrayfield.
EDIT - Forgot to say that, while we may not qualify for the quarters, it does us a benefit by allowing the team to concentrate on the league which, despite the setback at Firhill, is still on course.

Munster look passed it as a team. At least Leinster have some good young players coming through with Heaslip, Carney etc, but Munster just look over the hill by and large, which is a real shame. Wallace was excellent though - why does he not get a prolonged run at 7 for Ireland?

cause Eddie doesn't rate him and there's better opensides around than him. I wouldn't mind if he started getting a run at no. 8 could definitely create more of an impact from there but again Eddie seems to think that Leamy is the answer, with Foley being pushed out and doesn't have enough belief in Heaslip despite the proof being right under his nose. Worse still when Leamy is a better blindside as well. Although if Wally continues this form Eddie will have to reconsider.

Wallace dosen't start for ireland cos he dosen't get stuck in around the rucks and in the tight. He spends too much time on the wings/ out with the backs looking for passes. If we had a mammoth front five ala France which could take care of all the rough stuff then we might be able to afford him but at present we don't. Perhaps a good bench option but as Tarbh mentoined, Eddie dosen't rate him.

Well the Ospreys tactics of trying to rough the Tigers up doesn't seem to have worked with both Henson and Evans being cited. How much of a hardon did Stuart Barnes have for Henson when defending him for elbowing Moreno in the face.

Ah, a Welsh person with Small Nation Syndrome what a pleasant surprise!
Henson got trampled on because he was on the wrong side of the ruck and was in the way, there was no malice in what happened to him, it was an accident. Henson, however, did not accidentally elbow Moreno in the face, and certainly did not accidentally try and kick him as he fell to the floor.
Incidentally, how the hell did Henson managed to miss a kick at an enormous Italian prop, appoximately 6 inches away from him, who to use a bit of Ronglish was gong down in installments?

Probably got a bit of fake tan in his eyes by mistake, put off the focus, would explain the missed kicks, prop and posts, elbow didn't do as much damage as it should have either.
