Connacht second row Darragh Murray and Ulster back row Bryn Ward will also join the squad in Portugal before linking up with the Ireland XV squad.

Cormac Izuchukwu is not currently available while Robbie Henshaw, Calvin Nash, Jimmy O’Brien and Andrew Porter are also injured.

Ryan Baird, Shayne Bolton, Mack Hansen, Jordan Larmour and Paddy McCarthy are ruled out due to injury.

I would call that squad grand and pretty much surprise free. Certainly not aggrieved as a Munster fan. I do agree the back three needs freshening up big time. Kenny or whoever is probably skipping the que, but we're probably at a stage now where we need to start picking a few guys based on ceiling rather than here or now. At the very least let Kenny hold a tackle bag before sending him off for an A game.
Centres are worrying too, but not sure who you can comfortably plug in there. Probably need to just try Postlethwaite or something. Aki has to be nearing the end for us.
