kit request. front done...!

gaaaaaah, wrote this all up and now the bloody things disappeared!

basically a team i played for wants to enter 7s competitions and i was thinking of kit designs and wondering what they'd look like and figured rugby 08 is kind of a viewer for ideas like this. the only problem is, i used to make the kits for pro rugby manager but not only can i not use photoshop anymore, the template for 08 is confusing me and i think itd be quite basic and not take anyone who was any good very long atall! i've done the shirt front and attached the psd so the layers are there for that but i dont know where to start on the rest - shorts -white shorts with the 2 logos and blue adidas stripes, and then socks - stripes of the main colours, and for the back - reverse of the front with white box for number... if anyone would take this on and take a few screenshots id be eternally grateful, and you'd hopefully get to see your rugby 08 shirt used as a 7s shirt soon!

and heres the back with template/ texture on lower layers (i can't remember how to merge them?), sleeves shorts socks i cant manage... and my laptop died taking rugby 08 with it, so any help would be massively appreciated!

right, ive pretty much done it now, itll look poo but atleast done! thing im wondering is how you merge the texture layer in photoshop so that it comes through. opacity affects the other colours and if i simply do flatten that doesnt work either. help much appreciated... ive forgotten that final part

heres the shorts http://rapidshare.com/files/225370035/shorts.psd.html i cant work out the merge thing so they are seperate. and heres the rest of the front all together (socks, sleeves, kit front, empty shorts http://rapidshare.com/files/225371338/lions.psd ) , the back is in the post above. anyone who can simply merge it into the bottom layer so the texture comes through and then take ingame shots that'd be great..anyone who knew how to continue the adidas stripes onto the shoulder then merge then screencap... even more so!

um if you mean the design its based on, its made up so i dont have one, if you mean the in game shot, i dont have that either cos i dont have rugby 08 on this anymore (and dont know how to put kits into the filetype!) and if you mean just a jpeg just to show where i am then here it is - but obviuosly its flat so the texture is underneath (cos i need to do the merge thing ive forgotten how to.. i rememebr i flatten everything on the kit bar the texture file, then do something, just don't know what....!)

been on the rugbyforum since the original version bud but no worries, heres the image shack versions of the jpgs, the psds are the layered versions of these. what i need done is the texture layer to come through the design layer so its textured, (and also if atall possible the adidas stripes to continue onto the sleeves if atall possible..then screenies..

I can see what you want i think. Do you want the stripes from the collar to the sleeve? Do you want the adidas collar? At the moment you have a mix of CCC and adidas.

great. whatever you think looks best mate, i dont really know what i'd done i'd just worked from bits and bobs of the ccc template but with an adidas design! and yep stripes from collar to sleeve, whatever looks good.

also if you have a better version of the ccc ribbing (the black bits) you're more than welcome to use it because my one doesnt look great! ... will probably look better with the texture layer though i suppose...
