Good win for Tigers. Typical premiership game - intense, entertaining, but lots of mistakes, especially from saints.

Lack of a scrum keeps saints from really being contenders - Castrog got MOM - but they have plenty of talent and ambition. Ashton is a phenomenon at 14 and will play for England, but not tested in defence tonight. Overall, they don't have the bonus point in their bones, so may turn out to be another Gloucester nearly team, or maybe they'll kick on like London Irish.

Leicester are still missing players, so hard to judge how good they are. Staunton is very conservative. Main worry for them was turnovers at lineout.

That'd be the same Gloucester who've finished top more times in the last 6 years then not?

Except the league. Quite convincingly.

Sod the play-offs, the team who finishes top are champions.

Because 2 games in may are more important to the Twickenham money makers then an entire season of rugby...

No because that's how the tournament works. I'd rather see a straight league myself but that's the way things are money motivated or not...

Whatever. The bullshit merchandisers may sayWasps have mean the majority champions over the past few years, but the fans think otherwise.
