it's not like there was a lack of talent in the last lions squad. It just appeared to be a question of too many, too pampered, too english. By that last comment I mean that the english weren't really having a great run of form at the time, and yet Woodward went along and picked more of them than any other country when Wales was the form side at the time. He also took too many fly halves, it should've been O'Gara and Jones, that's it. Wilkinson should never have played in any of those tests.
