Malaysia: 42ND HSBC-COBRA 10S: NARROW WINNING FOR PENGUINS INTERNATIONAL RFC

PETALING JAYA, 13 November 2011 - IT WAS A FIERCE FIGHT between Cobra Malaysia and Penguins International RFC in today's grand finale 42nd HSBC-Cobra 10s at MBPJ Stadium Kelana Jaya. This final match was a spectacular show, with strong and fast pace game displayed by Cobra and Penguins, however Penguins won the final match today with narrow winning (12-10).
During first half of the match, an opening try was done by Phil Tuigamala from Penguins seven minutes into the game. Cobra fought back and rewarded their team with two tries (2) by Kini Rosolosolo and Mark Atkin in the 10th and 14th minutes. Both teams failed to complete the conversions and the first half was lead by Cobra 10-5.
Second half, Penguins equalized their score with a try by Tua Sasave in the 20th minutes to 10-10. Karl Bryson lead his team to victory and became the hero of the game when he completed the conversion in 21st minute for Penguins.

In the plate category, Tradition RFC from Japan won (17-12) to Nadroga Stallions RU from Fiji in sudden-death game.
N.S Silverbacks Sydney won against ASAS in the final, Bowl category by (25-20).
