Kieran Read was absolutely robbed. There is no other way to say it. Not only was he the best 6 in the country this year, but he made like what 23 tackles in the super 14 final?! Why wouldn't you select a player who does it all and steps up in the clutch when it all matters? I don't get it at all.

To be fully honest, this is the weakest All Black line up put out in a long, long time. [/b]

1998 was worse.

And with Read it came down between Kaino and Read - Kaino probably got the nod because he is better in the line out, has played at the level in the past and has been in form for the last 2 years. Kaino also offers more in the line out.

This MIGHT one of the weakest AB squads but one or two players isnt gonna change that. We are fortunate that most of the other big nations are in a similar situation.

I disagree that Jerome Kaino is better in the lineout. Kieran Read played lock once or twice last year, I believe, and is pretty good in the lineout. Although, Kaino is better with ball in hand but Read has shown he is hard to take down several times this year.

I can't support the Henry/Tew/Hobbs reigime. It is destroying NZ rugby. I can't support it. Nothing would make me happier than to see the ABs succeed. I just don't understand why you would want to support a group of people that are destroying it. Maybe it is because you want to see the death of rugby in NZ. Or you are just too ignorant to see the obvious even when it is staring you in the face.

the likes of australia have also lost players that played in the world cup last year so they too will have a weaker team as well. the fact is this team has to be different to what we are used to since many players from the world cup team and that era have moved on. there is though still a very solid and experienced core group left which a new team can be built upon.

I still think the abs will probably have one of the better teams going around in international rugby. Remember the likes of carter and mcCaw are still there and any team with those guys in it will go pretty well I think. This weekend marks the dawn of a new era in abs history and I know I am excited and will be watching the test with great interest.
