Honestly it would have been great to kick on and keep the scoring going but honestly the defence has been great, physical and shutting them down. Conceding 1 try in each half is not bad at all.

Can't wait for IFW and Ikitau to come back :).

Needed the win to keep top for as next week at home vs Saints will but huge as we won't be favourites but we need to step up give it a go.

Got injured for quite a while. Got sent on loan to Albion where he carved up, then got sent to Pirates where he carved up, then played Prem Cup where he carved up. Expect he’ll be back involved with 1st XV very soon.
Great to hear, I remember being very impressed with him

Not exactly a big game if you've gotta close some of the stands

Probably shouldn't have pumped the tickets, I'd have gone if it wasn't £62+fees for a non-nosebleed seat

Fun enough game but disappointing to see Tigers just basically give up once they got the BP, would've preferred to see the old school ABs mentality of grinding a team to dust until the final whistle

FTB should be cut for kicking the ball out at the end when on the attack after the turnover in Gloucester's half

Leicester 36-17 Gloucester

NO Scorigami

First Game: 6/4/03 Wasps 36-17 Bath
Last Game: 2/3/19 Saracens 36-17 Northampton

Harlequins 18-14 Bristol

NO Scorigami

This is the 10th instance of this score

First Game: 5/9/09 Saracens 18-14 London Irish
Last Game: 11/10/25 Bristol 18-14 Exeter

Both packs showing you need power in back 5 of scrum to be successful.
Pollock is being given the freedom to play how he sees it because pearson and keminy doing tough stuff.
In fact Pearson could be option for England, if we persist with Earl at 8.

Northampton 21-17 Saracens

NO Scorigami

This is the 13th instance of this score

First Game: 31/1/98 Newcastle 21-17 Northampton
Last Game: 30/12/23 Northampton 21-17 Sale

Burke won't want to see that bite in again, absolutely no need

Decent enough game - far closer than I expected tbh, I thought Saints were going to run away with it, F.Smith going off did change the complexion a bit

JJ VdM needs to eat some tuna in his 18 meals a day, bit of brain food - very brain-dead carrying on the goal line at the end, propelling himself backwards into several defenders on the goal line isn't going to work these days, it's such an easy held up situation. Players need to practise getting to ground quickly/efficiently in those situations

He actually only eats 1 meal a day

But yes, players have to be a lot more careful being held up. I think Saints has at least 2 in this game (potentially both JJ)
Better to stop short and go again than take the risk

You'd have thought being a commentator would come with a prerequisite of doing a touch of research or having a bit of knowhow - TNT talking about Bath converting Barbeary to backrow, when he arrived with a grand total of...zero senior starts at hooker and zero age grade starts at hooker.
His grand total of hooker playtime (oo-err) is 45 mins (total) off the bench for Wasps, across two seasons, and two bench appearances for England u20 (totalling 17mins)

I'm no scrum guy, but looks like Ross has Sela on toast today. Of course, LCD>>>Frost
Generally, Carreras isn't doing his "I wanna play FH" argument any good - TBH, I'm not sure he's doing better there than Ojomoh has been.

That 2nd Sale try - I'd call it probably, but not clear and obvious. Far happier to see it given than I am about the goal-line drop out

Yeah the 2nd try probably was one but not sure how they gave it based on the angles available

Be interesting to see how much the change in ends changes Carerras' kicking luck, cause it has been dire but apparently it's a very strong/gusty wind
