Four rounds to go before the end of the beginning and into the play offs we go but who is going to make it? Interesting weekend's fixtures to come......

Beziers (10th) take on Narbonne (14th) in an important match for the latter who are just one point ahead of the last relegation place. Beziers are certain of a mid table place and are playing for pride which should be enough to secure them a victory.

Massy (16th) take on Agen (3rd) and the inevitable defeat will cement their place at the bottom of the table.

Stade Montaise (4th) are at home to 12th placed Tarbes and should continue their challenge for a home play off spot albeit they are 2 points behind Agen who may well take a bonus point win.

Leaders Pau will continue their home form with a win over 9th placed Montauban who have lost 10 of their 13 away games this season.

The clash of the day must be at Albi (7th) where the visitors are Auriliiac (5th) and a win for the home side would put pressure on 6th placed Biarritz who are 3 points ahead but a win for Aurillac would not be great either as they are ahead of Biarrits but only on points difference at this time!! A draw would seem to be very acceptable!!

Biarritz themselves are hosting Carcassonne (11th) who may well have eased off as their season has run its course being some 13 points ahead of the relegation zone. Let us hope so and BO take the bonus point win.

Bourgoin (15th) take on Colomiers (8th) and a win is a necessity to overtake Narbonne who have a difficult match themselves.

USAP (2nd) take on the rejuvenated Dax (13th) and whilst the home form of Perpignan should see them home, I think it will be closer now than earlier in the season.

Now it's over but the hardest things are yet to come.

Getting up is difficult, as Biarritz are so painfully showing, but staying up year after year requires money, good rugby and financial management skills and some luck without which it is impossible - as Biarritz have so clearly shown lacking as they are the first three!!!

The changes as a result of the weekend again favoured Biarritz especially the defeat of Aurillac at Albi which saw them move into fifth place and with home match against Montauban and two away matches (Dax and Colomiers) to come, there is every reason to be optimistic but with BO....who knows!!!
